Create Path with Figma Interactive Components

What are interactive components?
Interactive components is a Figma feature that allows you to define interactions between variants in a component set. Having reusable interactive elements cuts down on time spent prototyping, and helps you reach higher levels of fidelity for better feedback and testing. Learn more in Figma’s official documentation.

Are Interactive components supported by Useberry?
Participants of your study will always be able to interact with interactive components and you will always be able to see the participant's interactions with interactive components in the Click Tracking and the User Flows sections of the Useberry results.

Why enable the Interactive components?
The only reason to enable interactive components within a Single Task is the case where you are using a Figma prototype that has interactive components and you would like to set one or more paths (that have interactive components) that testers need to take to successfully complete this Single Task.

In such a way you can get direct and indirect success for the completion rate results of a Single Task, even when your prototype has interactive components.

How to enable the Interactive components to set a completion path that has interactive components?

1. Add a Single Task to your Useberry study structure
2. Import or use an already imported Figma prototype that has interactive components
3. Enable the toggle “Enable interactive components to add variant interactions to your path”
   - If the Figma prototype does not have any interactive components the toggle will not appear 
4. Start interacting with the prototype to add screens or states to your path
   - When you interact with an interactive component you will see the interactive components added to the path
5. Save the completion path
6. You can add multiple completion paths by clicking the “add alternative completion” button.
