Designing seamless and intuitive journeys is at the heart of exceptional user experiences. With Useberry’s User Flows, you can visualize and understand exactly how testers move through your product — from entry to completion — empowering you to make data-driven decisions that boost satisfaction and drive success.
What are User Flows?
User Flows show the paths testers take when interacting with your prototypes or designs. By mapping out these pathways, you can uncover critical insights into user behavior, identify friction points, and discover opportunities to streamline the experience.
User Flows are available for Single Task and Open Analytics blocks.
How it Works
Access User Flows by clicking on the "View User Flows" button within a supported block. This feature allows you to explore and analyze how testers navigate through your tasks or screens, helping you pinpoint the most common journeys as well as unexpected behaviors.
To refine your analysis, you can apply filters and segments. This makes it easy to focus on specific user groups, behaviors, or conditions, revealing deeper insights into preferences and interaction patterns.
Customization & Adaptability
When exploring the User Flows section, you’ll find a highly adaptable flow control panel. You can:
- Exclude specific items to declutter the visualization and focus on the most important paths.
- Define the number of steps displayed in each flow, tailoring the level of detail to your needs.
- Set percentage thresholds for bucketed flows. Any flow representing less than your defined threshold (1–5%) will be grouped into an "Other" category, allowing you to highlight the most significant patterns without distraction.
This flexibility ensures a streamlined, focused view that matches your analysis objectives.
Visual Highlights & Screen Mapping
User Flows go beyond simple diagrams. With visual mapping and integrated screen views, each step in the flow is paired with corresponding screen images, making it easy to understand each action in context.
Additionally, highlighted areas draw attention to key steps and crucial interactions, ensuring that important user actions stand out clearly for your team.
Figma Interactive Components
In Figma, designers can also incorporate interactive components directly into their User Flows, allowing stakeholders to visualize both the overall journey and the specific behaviors or states of individual elements. This makes the flow more dynamic and helps communicate the experience more clearly.
Key Benefits
Elevate User Satisfaction
By revealing intuitive paths and uncovering areas of friction, you can refine the user journey to ensure a smooth, frustration-free experience that delights testers.
Fuel Design Efficiency
User Flows highlight exactly where to focus design improvements, allowing your team to work more strategically and reduce wasted effort.
Boost Conversion Rates
With clear insights into real user journeys, you can optimize flows to reduce drop-offs, encourage key actions, and ultimately convert more visitors into loyal users or customers.
